We envision a world where safety, survivor autonomy, fairness, and respect are at the heart of every system that touches families. The Family Court Accountability Network (FCAN) exists to expose injustice and lead the way toward something better.

Our vision is an integrated, survivor-led co-designed system that is:

• Fair and Equal → treating survivors with dignity, not disbelief.

• Globally Connected → aligned with international human rights standards and best practice.

• Culturally Safe → respecting First Nations knowledge and diverse communities.

• Child-Centred → placing children’s safety and voices at the heart of every decision.

We are calling for an integrated Family Justice & Safety Tribunal (FJST) to replace adversarial courts with a model built on truth, accountability, repair and healing.
